Rationale

An empty and white paper is folded into different shapes and things which is Origami as well as how an object is folded and unfolded to form into the other object. That is our main idea for the stop motion which is "Transformation". Jonathan is the one who firsly suggested this idea. We agreed with him because it will be very interesting and fun. During the first discussion, Weng Hong and I researched in making origami, however they are too difficult to do. We only made a few ourselves which are easier and common. At first, we had an idea which was folding 5 objects : boat, penguin, plane, swan, and heart. A boat is floating on the water then tranforms into a peguin swimming in the water.After that, it will tranform into an airplane which is flying in the sky while changes into a swan.Finally, a heart is shown with the words"Thank You".

However, after the second meeting, we thought that they have no meaning and message behind them. Sue Ann suggested that using 4 different animals and a heart as the origami objects. The meaning behind it is to persuade people to love animals because many kinds of animals are going to extinct. The story of our stop motion is a paper tranforming into 4 kinds of animals from hardest to easiest one. Next, a heart will appear to show that we must give our kindness and care to the animals. The animals we have chosen are pigasus, penguin, swan, and flamingo.

In the process of this project, the four of us gain more experiences and knowledges not only on doing stop motion but also learning how to do more origami objects. Moreover, we work happily together. One more advantage is that we are getting better in creating blogs.=]
